Campus Services
Student Disability Services
The mission of the Office of Student Disability Services (SDS) is to ensure that UMBC students with disabilities are afforded an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from the programs, services, and activities of the University by providing accommodations and reasonable modifications that result in equal access and full inclusion.
University Health Services
All registered UMBC students, faculty and staff are eligible to use University Health Services (UHS) for health care and health education services. You can schedule an appointment at UHS or walk-in. Patients who do not have a scheduled appointment will be seen on a first-come-first-served basis, within the constraints imposed by medically urgent problems and the appointments schedule.
Counseling Center
Many students have trouble adjusting to the challenges of college life. It is quite common to feel anxious or concerned about your course work, social life, or the everyday pressures of being a college student. UMBC’s Counseling Center is available for all registered students. Services include individual and group counseling, self-help resources, and referrals to community providers.
Veteran Services
UMBC welcomes all veterans, active duty military, and dependents. We are committed to providing the best possible educational experience and services to assist you in achieving your academic and personal goals. Visit UMBC Veteran Services for information on VA benefits and programs.
